Parental Advisory Label Goes Digital

For more than two decades the Parental Advisory labels have graced tons of CD covers and became one of the most recognizable signs in recent pop culture. According to The Guardian, the plaque has now officially entered the digital realm in the UK. Following concern about the easiness for children to view explicit music content, the Parental logo will be introduced before songs and music videos on services such as Spotify and YouTube. The British music industry organization BPI is responsible for this update. Geoff Taylor, chief executive of the BPI, said following in a statement:
